Since the age of sixteen, Emilio Tritto (born 1990) has dedicated himself to baritone saxophone as both soloist and ensemble musician, featuring in most prestigious ensembles as the “Nationaal Jeugd Jazz Orkest” and the “Jong Metropole Orchestra” from The Netherlands (2015-2017), or the “JMI Jazz World Orchestra” (2015, 2016), and performing in world scale festival as North Sea Jazz and Montreux Jazz Festival.
Emilio started his first studies on the alto saxophone at the age of nine, while still in Italy, under the guidance of Felice Mezzina in Bari. At the age of sixteen switches to baritone saxophone and a few years later moves to The Hague (NL) to join the Royal Conservatory, perfecting his skills with teachers as John Ruocco, Rolf Delfos and Toon Roos, and successfully obtaining his Bachelor and Masters diploma. He has, through his studies, the occasion to meet and attend lessons with: Enrico Pieranunzi, Jim Snidero, David Liebman, Peter Bernstein, Rick Margitza, Luis Bonilla.
